SANTA
CLAUS -
the reality issue
 |
When
I was very young I believed in Santa Claus. We all did! How
he got into the house and put so many presents under the tree without our seeing him was always beyond me. One time I did hear him though,
I heard him land on our roof. Even my dad heard it!
Then, in my pre-teen
years, I discovered there really was no Santa Claus. Claus. |
It was the saddest day of my life. I was even in
denial for awhile. I had heard him and I'm pretty sure I have even seen him!
No Santa Claus? How could that be?
You can imagine my utter relief and total delight when I discovered that there really IS a Santa Claus. Now that I am grown up, I realize
that I had confused Santa Claus with St. Nicholas who is a totally different entity altogether. St. Nicholas was a person. Santa Claus
is an energy and vibration that is very palpable this time of year. There IS a difference you know.
Our world is inhabited by higher beings we cannot see with the naked eye. I believe Santa Claus is one of them! Santa Claus' job is to
restore harmony and balance. By December, most of us could use some help in that department and need the "tweaking" that only
Santa can give.
Nowadays people (except for us of course) only believe what they can see. The minds of men (meaning the population in general, not men in
the literal sense) are very small sometimes. Most people have trouble thinking outside of the box. In other words, their ideas are
preconceived and inflexible. To believe in Santa Claus, you have to be open.
That's because Santa Claus exists beyond ordinary reality.
If you don't believe in Santa Claus, then "you might as well not believe in fairies!" Know what I mean? The things that are most
real in the world are the things that you cannot see. Life, as we see it
with our eyes, is only an illusion. Have you ever seen the wind? Of course not. But that doesn't mean
it's not real.
There is a veil between the unseen worlds and us. It is only by love and faith that this veil can be pushed aside. Once we get a glimpse
of the other world, we realize it is more real than the tangible world in which we live in today. Just because someone believes it is
not real, does not mean it is true! Part of believing in Santa Claus is believing your own truth.
Santa Claus not only lives in the hearts of children, he also lives in the hearts of us grown ups who believe in the fairies and nature
spirits of all kinds. Santa Claus exists in every romantic gesture, every gift given, every poem written, every new friend made, and
every candle lit in the name of peace and goodwill.
No Santa Claus? Get real! Santa Claus lives! Santa Claus will always live! A hundred years from now, he will STILL be alive.

There really IS a Santa Claus!
As for me... at my house WE BELIEVE!

Poems for
Pondering...
Christmas
is a time of little time.
How we get there is a mystery.
Racing madly mall-to-mall, we climb
Into fields of sunlit harmony.
Shopping, cooking, clearing walks and yards,
Trimming house and tree while working, too;
Making phone calls, wrapping, writing cards,
As all worn out we do what we must do
So that this day of joy might joy renew.
-- Author Unknown
Christmas
is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf. The
good you do for others is good you do yourself.
--
Norman W. Brooks
It
came without ribbons,
It came without tags,
It came without packages, boxes, or bags.
Christmas can't be bought from a store...
Maybe Christmas means a little bit more.
-- Dr.Seuss
Christmas gift suggestions:
To your enemy, forgiveness.
To an opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart.
To a customer, service.
To all, charity.
To every child, a good example.
To yourself, respect.
